Weight Loss/Reduction
How much help will this be in reducing the over all weight of my car, Replacing hood with fiberglass hood, fiber glass body panels, aluminum floor pans, speed glass rear hatch, speed glass t-tops, speed glass all the way around.
????
Any other ways to lighten up the car

Weight is one of the most important aspects of performance. The lighter you can get the car the faster it will accelerate and the better it can corner and it can decelerate (brake) faster.I would start with a complete fiberglass front end. Set your motor back as far as possible. Not only is light weight important so is placement of the weight. Try to get all the weight you have to carry over the drive wheels.

If you aren't concerned with the risk of getting hit, then you can remove all of the fender reinforcement/stuffing crap. But if you get hit, you might take a pretty good bang man... I think its something around 50 lbs lighter w/o the fender padding.
