Its not actually the hinges that go bad it is the pins that hold the hinges. Go to www.3rdgensolutions.com and get the set I ordered last week. Or you can go to autozone and get the help,me pins but you will have to replace those every few years or so!

Hope this helps you and your bud!

Actuall, 2nd gen F body hinges are completely different than 3rdgen hinges. You can actually fix and or replace both hinges very easily. They are not welded to the door like 3rdgen hinges are.

As far as I know they are still available from GM, or Classic Industries.

That is kinda like putting fix-a-flat in a tire. It's OK for a short while.

The second gen hinges are not stamped like 3rdgen hinges. They are cast. How you are going to bend a cast hinge I don't know. I believe that the door itself will actually bend first. Or maybe even the body. I certainly do not recommend this procedure!

NAPA, AutoZone, and other parts stores have replacement bushings which will solve the problem. The only difficulty is realigning the doors on the hinges (you'll need help). I've replaced these on 2nd gens by myself and it is a hassle.

Even now that you've bent your hinges back, those bushings still need replacing. Hopefully you haven't damaged the doors or hinges. If you have, contact YearOne or your local junk-yard if it is a beater.

Aerospace 12 pinot nut, BHAA!! WTF needs that? I am working on getting a lath(spelling?) and making some cheapers ones $125 dollars for 4 pins and bolts? WTF

OK! I have noticed that over the past few months "camaro6spd" has had an issue with the price of my UPPER door hinge pin&bushing kits. So "camaro6spd" what price should I charge? $5.00 maybe $10.00?

Andy, I think your products are a great thing, but you could sell a lot more if the price was a little lower. Man I program & setup Okuma CNC lathes and I know you can make at least 20 of them an hour.

I don't have any Okuma CNC lathes! I must get someone else to do it.

Apparently the price is not an issue for a great many people. As I am still just barely able to keep up with the orders. No kidding.

Andy, find a source with CNC, you will save a bunch and be able to pass the savings on to your customers and to me in the near future also

Yanking the door up is nothing more than a medieval door adjustment which can be performed more permanently by loosening the hinges and actually adjusting them.

The doors on third gen cars are long and heavy and wear the hinge/bushing components very easily. Myself, I would just order new hinges.

"Myself, I would just order new hinges." Changing the hinges, which are welded to the door is a real pain.
