Need some sort of ground effect for a Knight Rider bumper
Hey All,
Does anyone know of a way I can drop the height of the nose cone /bumper on my 85 TransAM in terms of a universal ground effects trim to drop the front height?
I had the stock fron bumper modified to put the red scanner light in the front and it looked great but wasn't really the knight irder bumper.
A few years later I got the season 2 bumper and installed it and while it looks great at the top, it feels like the front of the car is way too high. And that's on 15" wheels.
I'm about to upgrade to 245/55/18s for the C5 brake conversion and its goin to look like a monster truck with another 3" of height.
I'm looking for lowered springs to compensate this, but I'd love if there was like a trim I could attach to the bottom of the nose cone to at least give a bit more coverage.

The 82 and some 83 cars had a unique piece there.

Ah yes, the deflector or something.
That would help near the wheel well but I was thinking of someto cover the whole front of the bumper to bring the overall distance from the ground lower, without changing the hieght of the reset of the car, e.g. the sump and transmission going lower.
The exhaust place that made the exhaust did a **** job and it hangs pretty much 2.5" lower than the original exhaust so the car bottoms out on a speed bump but sits up in the air way too high looking from the front..
