Mine cracked and broke on my 92 z28. They are prone to that and the paint also fading differently than the actual body paint.

My '91 T/A was like that when I got it, I figured someone opened the door on a high curb or something. Was able to fix it with a fiberglass patch, still holding 18 years later.

They are plastic, not fiberglass
