Body Falling Apart

Hey community. Any idea what would cause this? Came home today to see a large chunk of the fiberglass out of my passenger side door…

Re: Body Falling Apart

Mine cracked and broke on my 92 z28. They are prone to that and the paint also fading differently than the actual body paint.

I call it GM's cheap *** plastic.

Re: Body Falling Apart

Looks like door rot behind the ground effect.

Re: Body Falling Apart

My '91 T/A was like that when I got it, I figured someone opened the door on a high curb or something. Was able to fix it with a fiberglass patch, still holding 18 years later.

Re: Body Falling Apart

They are plastic, not fiberglass
