Would it be dumb to get new grill w/o new foglights?

Hey all, i have the crappy grill that came w/ all rs's and i wanna get the iroc type, you know what i'm talking about. At the present time tho, i'd just be getting the grill and not the fogs to fill in the space....would it look stupid to just have the new grill w/o fogs or should i try to muster up more cash and invest in the fogs. Opinions wanted

Look at it this way... until you get the driving lamps, you'll just look like a 1LE. My '88 IROC is missing its lamps, and while I think it'll look better with them to fill up the hole, it looks just fine as it is.

I got the Z grill for mine and I think it looked fine before I added the lights. Actually I think it looked better without the lights.

It looks GREAT without the lights, the far blue one does have them.

When i get the grill, do i have to put anything behind the holes where the fogs would be or do i just leave them open?

Yes, its an easy swap. You may have to make new holes since the grilles are slightly different in where they mount, but you don't need to drill them, just screw into the urethane bumper.

Here is a pic of my '88 IROC with a '91-'92 bowtie grille (I painted the bowtie gold), and missing its fog lamps.

BTW, nice pic Dewey
