Sup everybody, I have an 86 sport Camaro. I've developed lots and lot's of ideas to make it sweet. Since, theres no such thing as third body euro-lenses, I went to Auto Zone and saw some Chrome stripe tape ( to make stirpes on the sides of cars) Before I go and pay $10.00 for some chrome tape, I was just wondering if any of you guys would think it would look ok to outline all the black spaces in my tail lenses with chrome tape. Oh yeah, What do you think about this also... Removing my yellow tail lenses, and replacing them with the white ones. Then, puttin a red, or amber bulb behind the replaced lens. Tell me what you think about these Ideas. Thanks!

 

to each there own but my opinion on it is it would not look that good on a camaro. would look too *****, or just like crap, but again that is my own opinion

get some lude or civic then that is expected.

but atleast if you try it and you dont like it then you should be able to put it back the way it came

yeah i have to agree, to each thier own...but at the same time i don't think it will be too nice....photoshop is a much better alternative.

 

You can't just 'remove the lenses' on a camaro tail lamp either.

Do a seach, clear tail lights have been discussed more than once & someone used to have some photoshopped pics at one time. I forget who but it was on a red camaro.

I hate to use these words, but that idea sounds tacky, untastful and RICE.

There is a rice boy driving around here with yes, REAL RAIN GUTTERS, upside down un the bottom of his g/fx, cuase he thinks it looks cool.

 

I think chrome stripe tape from AutoZone would be a bad idea anywhere on a car. That stuff is really tacky.

Hey Un4givin89, you should take a picture of the guy with rain gutters and post a picture for us all to see(and laugh at).

 

Come on guys, it'd look fargon' sweet... Just imagine how it'll shine when the sun hits it, or when someone is behind it they'll see the lines glimmering in the night...


And it'll really look badass when it starts falling off two weeks later.

 

someone here in windsor (he had michigan plates come to think of it) had iether chrome or silver replacing all the black on the tallights. It looked like total crap.
As for the clear taillights.... i don't know..... The only car i've ever seen look good with them is this (forgive me) mustang near my house, but the rest of the car is done up also, so it fits... just putting them on a normal camaro wouldn't look good IMHO.

I say go with blackouts, or all red
