87 to 91 92 front end firebird Swap

What are the differences between 92 and 87 firebird front end nose doin a swap!!
i have the bumper the fog signal lights grill inserts was planning to modify the impact support for new bumper people saying headlights are differentiate is it just the outter plastic Bessel?? Thanks

No, it's the entire headlight assembly that's different. The doors, housings, blah blah blah all different. I think the pivot pins and mounting brackets might be the same. The sealed beams are different on later cars too, being the 4x6" bulbs.

You CAN use the older lights if you remove the plastic bezel. I switched my 89 Formula over to the 91-92 front cover in 1995 and ran to 89 headlight assemblies (minus bezels) for many, many, years before I bought the correct assemblies to match the cover. In fact, I still the 89 assemblies on the car because I still haven't switched them out yet!
