Part number for hood release cable clips?
I've misplaced my hood release cable mounting clips on my 90 iroc. Does anybody know the part number for them? Or a possible source to get new ones?

If GM no longer has them, you can try browsing this site. I looked through the GM section and came up zero. Doesn't mean that other mfgs. didn't use the same clip.

You'll pay more in shipping from gmpartsdirect than if you just go to a few local GM dealers and ASK for the reduced rate. It's not hard to find a decent counter guy.
At nearly $14 postage and $4 each for a clip, it should be easy to get them local for less.

Re: Part number for hood release cable clips?
I couldnt find one when mine broke (where was this thread a year ago) .... SO... I machined a piece of aluminum with set screws. Made it capable of holding two cables: One for the manual factory hood release cable and another attached to a 35lb pop solenoid. This allows me to give it a modern spin while having an override should the battery be dead.
