This may seem pretty wierd, but does anybody have a pic of a great/perfect condition undercarrage of thier car? I am talking like no rust, original coating and such. Thank you

a little rust is definitely normal.... im just guessing but i'd say that it is officially *BAD* when you can actually crawl under your car and grab the carpet inside...just like i can on mine
...thats when you get the joys of buying completely new floor pans and gutting the interior

Yes, all thirdgens should be body color underneath (not necessarily clearcoated), but remember some have been undercoated by the dealership or owner and are therefore are textured black.

Alright. I was just checking, b/c I am thinking about using some POR-15 on my underbody, since it has some surface rust, but it isnt real bad. Hopefully this will help protect it from further rusting.
