You Pull It Junkyards in MA?
Anyone know of any "you pull it" yards in Massachusetts? I'm in Worcester and looking for some parts for an 89 Camaro RS. Most are small....so a you pull it yard would be my best bet ;-)
Thanks in Advance!

Where do you live in Worcester because I live in Worcester and Im into thirdgens myself(mainly firebirds). Ive hit all the yards around the area(nothing special right now) and Im working in Springfield (USAF)but Im hitting the yards here and theres alot of Camaro stuff out here. I have an 89 IROC-Z (350, hardtop) that I was going to use as a project but AirForce calls and Im going overseas in a few days. Let me know if you want the whole thing cheap at fbodyparts@hotmail.com. Thanks, STEVE Z

I'm off of Burncoat street Steve.....near the West Boylston Stop & Shop. Pretty close to 190 ;-)
What about yourself? Drop me a line and gimme some more info on this 89 IROC...I might be interested in it...I've got an RS, but I'd MUCH prefer an IROC ;-)

Hey boys...I don't believe it, apparently there exist thirdgens in Worcester that aren't a. old b. nasty. c. ghetto. d. nasty e. white trash f. treated like crap on a stick. Thanks for keeping it real. I live in Auburn (5 mins. from Worcester) and where I go is Standard Auto Parts in Worcester on Granite street. The guys there are very reasonable pricewise and there's a good 15 thirdgens, mostly 6-bangers, sadly. But, they just might have what you're looking for, so give 'em a try. There's another joint nearby there, and they charge you $2 just to look around, and I dont' remember them having CRAP. So forget them. Anyway, good luck, I drive an ultra metallic blue 89 RS, and I LOVE my car. I'm usually in Tennessee at school, but I like keeping tabs on The Homeland. Let me know.

Thanks Baron! I haven't seen too many third gens in the area....but I've seen a few posts from people. Must be hiding em all so they don't get ripped off. hehehe
I'll have to check out that yard.....6 banger works fine for interior pieces ;-)

Car: 1991 GTA
Engine: 305
Transmission: 700R4
I should really check the boards more often...
Glad to see there are a few quality thirdgeners around Worcester. All I ever see are the trashed out ones.
I live right off of Lincoln St., near the Denny's.
If you guys want maybe you can head on up to the FirebirdsForever car show this sumer. I entered my 1991 GTA into the show last year and it was a lot of fun. Not too many cars, but still a good time. Their website is found here.
I will have to try out those junkyards in the spring....let you know how it goes.

Heck, y'all, we should have a mini-gathering, in some fast-food parking lot or something equally ghetto and white trash. I'll be in Tennessee until the summer, but I'll probably be around all summer. At least for the sole purpose of seeing non-ridiculously trashy thirdgens in fair Massachusetts. Do y'all go to the summer nationals in Worcester?

Well...at the moment...mine would fall into the white trash category. Bought it @ a month ago...in process of cleaning it all up now. ;-)
I gotta figure out how to put this damn nose piece back on! The guy gave me a new one in the box....instead of on the damn car! hehe

Hey gta007, I'm in Sewanee, between Monteagle (exit 134 off 24) and Winchester...I've been up to Banner Tranny in Manchester like 5 TIMES...blew my T-5 installing a clutch, still no clue what I did wrong...anyway, I'll be back there on the 13th, and I'm itching...gotta get back to my TN! There's a nice teal Camaro in the area, I don't suppose you'd know who belongs to that?

Gathering!
I live in Waltham, about 30 min away from Worcestor. If you guys have a gathering I'm bringing both my F-bodies (74 and 89). There has to be an all night dunkin donuts or mcdonalds around there to make the scene nice and trashy. We can go to a parking lot and leave lots of open differential one wheel skid marks!

(yes, the sarcasm is rampant, but a Worcestor meeting is a good idea)

Dang, gta, that's one powerful f-body...sweet!! I'm afraid my 305 TBI just can't hang with that, but hey, we all need role models. Anyway, yeah, that teal camaro looks pretty sweet - funny how that kind of stuff can look like such trash in pictures, but look good in real life...perhaps it's not possible to live vicariously online after all. Enough of that crap. Anyway, my parents gave me money to get all the body work and a paintjob for my car, seeing how a GIRL drove it off Monteagle Mountain before I owned it. I've heard Brown's in Winchester is the best...you got any good places near you?

If you feel like driving out to the Brockton area, there is a street near Massasoit College that has three junkyards on it! Brockton Auto Parts, Everett's (the best), and Regal auto parts are all right next to each other. Everett's usually has a good amount of 3rd gen f-bodies, and they have reasonable prices. That's where I go. My friends and I have found some good stuff there.
