Firebird spoiler help!
Hey All, a friend of mine has a 1987 Firebird with the T-wing style spoiler...a shelf fell on the car and broke a chunk out of the spoiler, seems like an easy fix but we don't know what material the spoiler is made of so we can get the right adhesive...any help is much appreciated!!!!

82-84 Trans am and 85-92 base bird wing. I'm not 100% sure what it is made of (plastic or fiberglass) but I do have a nice one from a green 92 ish car.

Re: Firebird spoiler help!
I'm surprised it's not just steel. I've never seen one crack or break like the rubber ones on all 1987-92 T/As and Formulas do. Maybe I just haven't seen a base 1985-92 Firebird in forever.

Re: Firebird spoiler help!
Mine split at the top/bottom seam when it was rear ended. I used 3M Structural Adhesive Tub Kit, part #08101. You only had a short working time with it, 2 minutes, but it works very well. Has held well over time.
