door striker plate
my vert had the rear quarter replaced and whoever did it they welded the striker plate in place. so i have no adjustment of the striker.
is there anyway i can replace that? does anyone sell that piece or should i cut out that section of the jam and weld one in from the junkyard?

Re: door striker plate
Even if someone does sell a replacement of sorts I would think cutting out a junkyard piece with something like a Milwaukee HackZall and welding it on yours would be just as good but cheaper. Just be sure to cut out more than you need from the donor and weld slow so you don't get warpage.
ut first have you tried that door alignment tool?
