Car magnet

Hey guys,

I have been searching all over but couldn't come up with a name. Wondering if some nice person can chip in. I'm looking for like a smooth dual sided magnet that goes on the outside of cars to hold something onto it. I'm playing to remove the bracket from my light bar with this for a more flush look

Any help would be great! Not sure what it would be called

Buy a pad of 3M "Industrial Strength" Velcro for a few bucks.
I guarantee you that you will be impressed. You wont have to worry about it flying off if you hit a bump either.
You should be able to buy it at any hardware store.
Make sure it says "Industrial Strength". Both the Velcro and the adhesive side are very, very strong.

The GOOF OFF in the small tin(looks like lighter fluid can) does a good job removing the left behind glue.

The Velcro can be pulled apart but takes some effort.
You can start the corner of the Velcro with your fingernail then peel it from there.
Removing the sticky side can be done with a razor blade if its on glass but if its on paint just use a fingernail to get it started then peal.
It is not a sloppy adhesive and actually leaves very little behind.

Even Velcro has evolved.......

Re: Car magnet

Thanks for that link to that magnet site! Have a couple extra bucks (not enough for new lights unfortunately) so I'll try some of these things out. I'll stop by the hardware store tomorrow to find some Velcro strips. If not, I'll find them online.

Also I called the people at that site and they directed me to a good magnet for my situation. So I'll be sure to see what works!

As is, that half on t top look keeps them safe 70 mph+ on a windy day between mountain valleys. Aesthetics are nice though hah . Thanks everyone!
