I finally took a good look at the horribly shattered spoiler that I had in storage off my 91 formula, and determined that with the missing pieces and how much more damaged it would become by the time I got the two halves separated to do a proper repair, that the spoiler is junk and just tossed it. So this leads me here. Now a spoiler isn't the first thing on my list of repairs, but I'd like to start collecting information now. What is the likelyhood of getting another good condition plastic aero spoiler for less than reproductions? If I do have to go the repro fiberglass route, what is the best place to buy one from? I've also heard that the fiberglass ones don't have the slots for the tabs on the window, can these be added or do I have to modify the way it mounts?

Thanks for looking. Hopefully by the time I get a spoiler I can avoid paying an arm and a leg for it.

No used car lots I've looked at have any 91-92 Firebirds, and the site linked doesn't come up with anything in my area either. Thanks though and I'll keep an eye out.

I just used the forums here, I think they are you're best bet.

Be careful the one you buy has no hairline cracks from the 4 holes that slide onto the hatch surround. Also that the metal thread inserts in the base the mounting bolts go into are not loose.

I can't even tell you how many I went thru over the last decade looking for the perfect replacement, then my ****ing body shop broke one of the tips off, ****ing retards.
