85 trans am lift supports help

Hi guys. Having some trouble finding correct lift supports for my 85 Trans am. Has wrap around spoiler and no rear wiper I purchased the rynopac 4900 and they don't match up to what I have and don't know where to get the correct ones or maybe a different mounting bracket? The replacement part#4900 has a through hole where it mounts to the body. Where the ones I have on the car has a threaded hole on the end where a bolt goes through to mount it.

That looks to me like someone made the adaptor, all the cars I have seen have the through on the end

Re: 85 trans am lift supports help

Weird. But that would make sense. So how would I go about fixing this? Is there a replacement adapter that I can get?

Yes the one bolted up are the ones in changing. If that bracket is not stock I would prefer to remove it.

Not stock, looks stupid. Also after you remove that, their is a cap that covers the bolt.
These are the caps.

Yeah they are pretty hidious. A small detail that I overlooked but wondered about. I have the caps but didn't know if I was missing something cause they obviously didn't fit lol. Thanks so much for all the help! Those ugly things are out of there

Whoever made those brackets should at least painted them up with something. They would've looked a little less hideous.
