Original hard to find emblems
Anyone else see these original body emblems on ebay? I was bidding and they finally sold for...$372!!! Very rare parts and in the original packaging too. I couldn't see myself paying that much but somebody did! What do u guys think about that...

Wow didn't see that auction but I don't think the price is as crazy as it seems at face value . Most original emblems out there are peeling apart from the backing, broken tabs, faded, etc. The reproductions out now suck and look terrible compared to originals. If someone has a mint low mileage car or a very nicely restored car such as you have, paying up when NOS is avaliable is the way to go. Its the little things that can make a car that much better. If someone really needs the emblems to complete their car, the price seems reasonable since the emblems were there with no need to wait on another nos set to surface or wait for a good used set to show up both of which could take years depending on how picky someone is.
