SS hood fitment issues

I have an ss hood and it doesn't fit right. I don't know what I've done wrong but the gaps are all wrong and the corners by the window rubs the fenders really bad. I don't think this is a cheap ss hood so I would think it should fit better then this. If any of you guys can help me out I would really appreciate it. Sorry if this has already been discussed.

It looks like you'll have to maybe loosen up the bolts on the fenders and kind of maneuver it into place in a way that fits correctly. It's close enough that the tolerance on the bolt holes should allow a little bit of play, move it to where it fits correctly, then bolt it down and kind of pin it with one or two bolts and tighten the rest once you've got the fit you want.

It looks like it might be a little bit off, but no so much that some finagling cant fix. Good luck.

Thanks for the reply. If I move the fenders around won't that throw off my door gaps? Also what should I do about the center passenger side sitting bellow the fender? The front corner fits flush.

You'll just have to keep adjusting until they fit. For the center under the fender, maybe try some kind of a spacer you can put underneath it, make sure it's where you want it and just let it kind of sit that way for a while until it takes the correct shape. Could be difficult to get something to sit just right, but worth a shot, maybe some wood shims or something.

Also I would use more than just one, maybe 3 or 5 different spots, evenly placed, just to make sure it doesn't bend the hood incorrectly.

Looks typical unfortunately. You should be able to loosed up the fenders and pull them out a bit, just don't do it too much. As far as the height I have the same problem. You can raise the whole hood up until the middle matches and then try to shim the fenders up on the corners. Just be careful not to bend the fenders when your shimming them.

Also make sure all the side bumper stops are where they are supposed to be.
