Replaced my tail light bird emblem with lame GM Restore parts
Yeah, not really happy about this.
Ordered a "GM Restoration Parts" labeled emblem for my Firebird tail lights as I had a gold bird and all my trim is silver.
Was kinda expecting OEM quality... but it's far from it!
First, the original is molded plastic. This new one is cut Lexan.
Second, the cut isn't very good at all! Doesn't follow the contours of the original properly.
I think it looks cheesy. Hoping to find an original silver in good shape.
Just a random heads up / rant I guess haha
And yes, I know the lock is offset! Haven't figured out how to rectify that yet.
