People interested in a Billet Grille, look inside...

If you want a billet grille that looks like this:

.....

Please send a personal email to me with the subject "Billet Grille". I talked to the guy who made it for me, and he said that if we can get 10 people on this, he can do it for $150 each + shipping. There is a catch, though. He works A LOT, and will not be able to finish them for a LONG time. He said that it will most likely take until January 2002 to complete the grilles. I know I am kind of jumping the gun here, but I am just letting you guys know about this. Please only email if you are serious about buying one of these. I will keep you name on hand and send you an email close to the end of the year, and I will also repost this message. Thanks guys.

i see why its only $150, it only has a few billet bars and looks like it is cut at a too short length.
I personally would rather pay more for the one at streetbeatcustoms.com because that one has at least twice as many bars and has a closer fit.....but thats just my opinion, and we all know what those are like.

Personally I like the fact that it has a more open look to it. Gives it more of a racey look imho. Also if it makes it cost less then im even happier ) I dont know what you mean by cut to short however? Do you mean it looks like it doesn't fit the front fender?

......they are like azzholes... Everyones got em and they all stink! J/k man I like mine with fewer bars, but I'd put the streetbeat one on if I had too. The grille is not short at all, it lines up very good, but you have to line it up perfectly when installing it so you dont scratch the paint.

I'm going to be polishing it up soon (before Sunday). Once I do that, I'll get some close up shots showing more detail.

That looks like a modified billet grille made for a truck. I kind of like it... but I would want one where the bars go right to the edges.

I cant see what you guys are talking about? The grille is plenty long and it fills the hole perfectly. I guess when I get some better pics you'll see what I mean.

For those of us with driving lights would we have to take them off? Is there anyway to put driving lights on this grill??

THANKS!

I'm pretty sure you would have to remove them, but since I dont have em, I dont know for sure. I'll check into it.

The pics are uploaded, but you have to wait 20 minutes to see em. You can check em out by going to this site: http://community.webshots.com/user/scott_92rs , then click on "Billet Grille". They are very high resolution pics, and they may take a little while to load up.

Oh, and please dont make any comments on how much I need to wash my car, or get a new front spolier It was supposed to rain today, and I already have a new spolier ready to paint

I agree It looks like a truck grill. I bet the emblem did come off a GM truck or some sort.

I dont remember where the emblem came from, but I think he gets them from AutoZone or Pep Boys. After working on it the other day, I think I came to the conclusion that I dont really like it as much as I first did. I am thinking about buying this one instead:
