How do you???

I picked up a '83 rear bumper for my car, but it has two small nicks in it. What should I use to fill these in before I primer and paint it? The nicks are about 1/8in. deep. Any ideas would be great. Thanks

Bondo or fiberglass should work just fine.

Sorry, but neither bondo or fiberglass would do any good. Both of these materials are stiff, and the bumper is not. For urathane parts you need to buy special stuff for it. I can't remember what it's called, but it's like a urathane. It flexes with the bumper. So if you get tapped, the fiberglass, or bondo won't flake off. The guy that had mine before me did use bondo on the nose piece, and I had to chip it all off, and do it all right. Go to a paint shop and ask them. They'll have it.
