95 T/A interior into 3rd gen camaro?
Hi Guys,
I’ve got a line on a full complete 95 T/A power leather interior for my 1988 Camaro ‘Vert. Will they Bolt in the same? I am also thinking of doing the dash and door panels conversions so any help, tips, techniques, parts needed, etc… would be helpful.
All help with the installation is very appreciated. I went through all of the search’s and can’t find a T/A console and interior going into a camaro.
Also as a side note I have a line with a guy for all kinds of 4th gen parts. LT1’s, full interiors, he has black seats power leather from a 95 Z28 the driver needs some work from a tear etc… I am going to be handling his online representation so let me know if there is any interest.
Thanks again,
James

James, the 4th gen seats and center console should basically bolt right in. The door panels will take some work, but will fit as well. As for the dash, someone on this board (i forget who) is in the process of puttin it in. From what I understand, the dash itself is a great fit, but youll have trouble with the heater box, as well as the guages. Have to say though, from the pics ive seen, it looks pretty bad a$$
Good Luck

Hey Rob,
Thanks for responding. I think it was zepher changing things around, but I was just worried that the T/A would fit weird in the camaro. I didn't realize that even though they were cousins they were that close lol Well, I will have detailed reports of how my quest goes. Anyone that has made the attempt let me know what to look out for. I currently have manual doors and want to install power windows and power door locks. Any thoughts if that is going to work?
Thanks
James

Hey that is exactly what i wanna do!
As for the manual to power change, I don't see why it wouldn't work. Doors for power and manual are the same structure.
------------------
89 RS parts car
Daily driver 91 RS auto LO3 70k, 14x3 K&N Open element, cat-back delete, Richmond 3.42's, Zexel Torsion posi.
Coming soon: 350, headers, loudmouth exhaust, gutted cat.

You can try and get a 3rd gen Firebird radio pod and mount your radio and heater controls in that and then the 4th gen console should fit fine, other wise you are going to have to cut the pod from your console then try and fit the 4th gen console underneath your modified radio pod.

Hey james,
Could you help me out? How much money would all the need dash components (wire harnesses, gauge pod, any extras needed) and the dash cost me? Perferably out of a 98-2002 camaro or firebird. If not, a 93-97 camaro or firebird would be great too. Also, how much would you charge for the door panels; center console ( I have a 93 in my car now, but it is all cut up, to fit my 3rd gen needs). I already have a nice set of 2000 v6 power camaro bucket seats. Your help would be much appreaciated. If you could pm me or email me at camar92@hotmail.com
Thanks a bunch,
Andy
