Installing V-matic

Looks like the B&M is kinda hit or miss with getting good reviews, so I wanted to go with the v-matic...anyone done it? the shift plate I think would be easy...but would the actual shifter fit...flush..?

Anyone have any exp.

I have the B&M Mega shifter in my car. It works great for me.Installation was rather easy too.
