Chain link.

Grant makes some nice wheels that look better than their Pep Boys junk. Personally I'm going to go with a Momo. It's not much more than a leather Grant, but looks far classier. I'm going to get the Champion, which has a suede upper with regular leather around the rest. It's worth checking out.

Do a google search for momo champion and you'll find a bunch of dealers.

I have a MOMO wheel and I've never been happier with the feel and looks of any I've owned.

has a good selection of MOMO,Sparco, etc.
I also have the Sparco Pedals.

Rich, is that where you got your wheel from? Their prices sound good ($200 for the Champion) but I've never heard of them before.

I'm kind of partial to the Billet Specialties Eagle steering wheel in my '86. And in my '88 I'm planning to put in a Colorado Customs flamed billet steering wheel. If you have the money, billet really gets the looks. Get a copy of Street Rodder magazine for lots of ideas.

I believe it was a Lumina APV (those Trans Sport wedge l;ooking crapmobile things) minivan. As I believe it was Bawls said,, apparently they were put in cavilers as well. After looking at the pics,, they seem to be modeled after the momo steering wheels somewhat. For $5 tho,,, I couldn't pass it up considering the p.o.s. steering wheels they put in the 82-84 SC camaros,,, I love the feel (squishy molded foam rubber instead of hard cheap cracked plastic). Just one of those things the make driving more pleasent (even if the car is a heap of sh*t,, it's still comfy to mewhich is what really matters)

Would a momo steering wheel like the champion have a smaller diameter than the stock wheel or is it the same?

I really like the $40ish Grant Challenger wheel in black that you can get at most auto parts places. Looks sweet in the car, grip feels awesome, install isn't bad and it's damn inexpensive... Fully plan to get another for any future thirdgens I may buy... SPANKS the stock wheel from my 87 all day long no question.
