W62 is the RPO for the AeroPackage, better known as Ground effects. No Formula ever had Ground effects as a factory item. In fact the whole idea of the Formula was to NOT have the GFX. So yes I think you have the wrong part. RPO sheets can be in-accurate sometimes. Your car does not have W62, the airdam should be the same as all Formula's and Firebirds (w/o gfx).

1994 25th TransAm GT
1990 T-Bird SC
1971 Boss 351

Four TransAm's are not enough. Firebirds for all.

I didnt think I did have the w62 because I was fairly sure it was the transam. I got the air dman for the non-w62 car but it still wont work. the wholes dont even line up. NOT EVEN CLOSE!

I used a air dam from a 83 T/A on my 89 Camaro and it worked perfect. Take measurements of where your holes are and hit the junk yard. No sense in paying for a new one from the factory.

its actually not that expensive from the factory only 26.04. But then again the only reason I went to a deal was because I couldnt find any at the junk yards hehehe

I put a new air dam on my car when I first got it awhile back. Thanks to the previous owner ripping it off and bending the frame in a wreck *fume*.... anyways when my dad ordered mine it didn't look the same and a few of the holes didn't bolt up either. But I made it work. I think I ended up just drilling some new holes for on the air dam itself to make one side line up. The other side I believe I was able to get it to line up without any mods. It's stayed on for 1 1/2 years now being rubbed a lot.
