'91 and '92 Camaro models without t-top?
In a few months, I will be looking for either a '91 or '92 Camaro. However, I don't really want one with a t-top.
Which models didn't have the t-top? Were there any Z28s without it or only the RS?
Thank you.

if you don't want to spend the extra for moding an engine; definately go with the 350 which was only hardtop. although some say the 305 is close in power i greatly disagree.
305's were available with hardtops; just not as many, most people wanted t-tops except for the few who loved the 5.7 then we were stuck with hardtops.

Thanks everyone. Now all I have to decide is whether or not I want a '92 RS with a manual transmission or if I can live with an automatic in a Z28.
Other than engine size and spoiler design, what were some other option differences between the RS and Z28? I don't really care for the Z28 spoiler design, so I might stick with looking for an RS.
Thank you again.

O.K here we go.There were suposed
to be no Z28's with T-tops that have
the G92 option that you got when you
ordered a Z28 with the 5.7 or5.0 5speed
That is the performance package.Witch
included posi 3:23 for auto and 3:42
rear for 5speed you also got a oil cooler rear disc and dual converters. But I have
seen a few with T-tops.

Again,
No such option with the 91 and 92 z28's with a 350, you could not get t-tops with it!!!
This topics comes up about every month or so and when somebody says they have a friend or they saw one at a car show, they are always proven wrong on this site.
Manny, 92 z28 with a 350 and NO T-tops!!!

I know the Firebird Formula, T/A & GTA in 92 were availible with T-tops & a 350.

I have one of those, my second Formula is a 305, 5 speed TPI, with the B&W 3.42 gear & T-tops.

Re: '91 and '92 Camaro models without t-top?
Even though you are replying to a 13 year old post, I'll give you some info. The C&C ttops are aftermarket since the factory didn't put ttops behind the 350 in the '91 and '92 Z28. C&C (Cars and Concepts) tops are not factory.
