Rear Spoiler Light Problem

Rear Spoiler Light Problem
I tried asking on another thread that was started with no response so ill try with a new thread.
I have researched the Internet and haven't found an answer but I wanted to get an opinion or at least a good direction to head in for my rear spoiler problem.
I have a 1990 Iroc Convertible and have an issue with rear spoiler light. I bought the car as a project and the spoiler is there but is missing the "clips" that hold the third brake light into place. The clips I'm referring to are somehow attached to the spoiler. The car is at the paint shop so I don't have a picture right now of the spoiler. Is there a place where i can buy these clips? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Re: Rear Spoiler Light Problem
So I appreciate the response but I don't know I described the missing piece correctly. I'm not looking for the pieces that hold the spoiler to the trunk, I'm looking for the "clips" that hold the third brake light in place on the inside of the spoiler. Anyone know? Thanks

Frustrated with this part. Hawks sent me the 2 screws and two clips, which I would've needed anyway but did not fix my problem. I tried to explain better, the pieces I'm missing are the ones that when your installing the light, the light rest on these two end pieces in order for you to screw the light in place. I was told by Hawks I need to buy a spoiler with those two pieces I'm missing already in place. This spoiler is already painted. Not good for me.

Re: Rear Spoiler Light Problem
Looks like something JB weld would do a good job on. Sucks to buy a whole spoiler for two little pieces of steel that could have been made pretty easy.

Looks like they used body adhesive, but epoxy or plastic adhesive should work fine. Sand the area to be glued first and make sure the goop goes through the holes as shown in the pic.
BTW, I would call those "brackets" not "clips" , helps when dealing with obscure parts.
And they do appear very easy to "fabricate" , just a bent metal strip with holes in it.
