Have any of you seen one of these units?

I just purchased one and will be finding somwhere to mount it... I will get it to work! It looks like it might even fit into an extra slot in my computer LOL... anyhow, I'll let you all know how it goes in a couple weeks... that is if anybody else shows interest...

came out of a Taurus didn't it, THE BEST IDEA i can say is that you should mount it ABOVE an after market radio some how because the after market radio will be smaller then the stock one,
just a thought, you will need to adjust the angle but should work.

It was about $30 Shipped and they're floating around ebay right now... I have looked at some promising areas in the dash area and I will post pics in a week or two when it comes in... I am really tired of keeping my drinks inbetween my legs... some dont fit under the wheel either.. lol

Yeah, under the passenger side dash is probably where it's going... just under that pad I'm thinking... maybe make up a fiberglass thing to blend it in.

I got the dimensions on the unit, it's 7.5" Wide, 2" High, 8" Deep.

A smaller one (cupholder only) from a Nissan Altima or similar vehicle can be mounted above the stereo (non stock units) which are narrower. Pics later

Oops forgot your car is'nt a Camaro.....Try under the padded dash that's a good location just right of your middle vents

Well, I looked behind the panel under the pad yesterday and it looks like a pretty solid place... gotta cut through some sheet metal, but that will offer rigidity. It's kinda funny, cause my friend and I were cruising down the Interstate (at 80 MPH )and I was telling him about the cupholder, so he asked me if the panel came off (he owns a mustang) and he tugs on it and it comes off in his hand... I say "well it was bolted on, but I guess it does now" LOL, nothing a little double sided tape or glue wont fix.
