LCDs, TVs, Computers, Etc inside your car?

Anyone whos been browsing problably saw my post in the electronics section. I'm installing a computer in my car, and I am wondering if anyone has an LCD or TV or something simlair in their thrid gen? Anyone thought about this? I know anyone with the Knight rider kit may have the TV installed. I'd like to see pictures too if thats at all possible. Just curious.

I have an "i-Opener" mounted in my 85 iroc, If your not familiar with it, its an internet machine built strictly for email, well there is a hack for it and I now have it running windows, I use it for GPS which works awesome, also as an MP3 player Which is integrated to my stereo. I had lots of plans for it but I then found someone else who had done the same sort of thing and I decided to stop. I was even planning on mounting "web cams" up to it under the front and rear bumpers for parking purposes. Now with wireless internet things could get even more fun.

Nope, I am a business entrepreneur and always have my laptop going. It won't harm it. They put notebooks through some pretty tough tests, like freezing droping, baking, pouring coffee on them, etc to test how well they hold up to real world conditions.

Heres my other post for all the details:

Police vechials no a days have computers in them. And I am liking this idea in my camaro. I am searchign for the right size LCD screen, that I'm gonna get re-enclosed in ABS plastic that matches the dash plastic texture with those lil screws I got off ebay. Anywayz, let me get to the details:

I want to hang the LCD from the under side of the dash, you know how maros have that lip. I plan on taking apart the used laptop. I'm computer experiniced, and stuffing the compents either unde my seat or in the center console. I'm gonna have the CD/DVD rom and Floopy up in the center console, should e interesting.

Anyone think I'd have any problems running the wires through my dash and wiring it so that the computer runs off the car all the time? I mean I can get an adapter for my cig lighter, so it shouldn't be hard to wire it to the car. but were would I wire it? fuse box?

I installed a 4 inch lcd monitor in the sunvisor of my 4th gen but could just as easily be done in my 3rd, b/c the sunvisors are out of a delta 88. If you wanted to hook your computer up to it all you would need is a scan converter assuming you don't have a video card with RCA video outputs.

I wanted to do the same thing, but instead for DVD's and stuff, I want to mount a laptop in there to monitor my ECM thru the serial link. After nearly 20 trys and still no sucess I'm starting to give up. I'm not sure what the problem is, the laptop can communicate with the device I made, but it won't read engine data. Anyone know what the problem is? b/c I would like to know.
