New interior pics

Just finished bolting in my 4th gen console, take a look at it, looks sweet.

It is in the Interior section, you all probably would have figured it out, but you never know.

Damn, thats really nice. I'm trying to score me a set of 4th gen black leather seats myself. And a center console too. Hopefully I will find them. By the way, my compliments to Alex, she's cute.

Cool car, but am I the only one who thinks that shifter looks a little high? It's like it sticks way up. Maybe it's just me though, lol. I'd still drive it.

so fill me in. Is it because you have a bird and the console was form a bird that it worked? What did you do about the radio holder? Anyone know if a 4th gen camaro console might work with a 3rd gen camaro?

------------------
I WOULD RATHER PUSH A CAMARO THAN DRIVE AN IMPORT

1983Z28 350w/ edelbrock performer RPM power package , dynomax shorty headers, 700R-4 with shift kit, 750cfm carb, edelbrock 3" exhaust system, 16" IROC rims and ASCD SS hood.

future mods:
completely done over suspension, black paint with flames,
T-56 almost ready to go in, TPI swap coming up

Wifes new car:

95Z28, AT, leather, T-tops bone stock for now.

future mods:
header to tailpipe replacement and a cold air intake. Then I am just going to leave it alone

I think that the pre 97 consoles had the radio pod. The 4th gen Camaro and Firebird consoles will both work in a 3rd gen Bird, I am assuming my console came out of a firebird, there were no firebirds at the yard I got it from, only camaros.
I think the 97+ camaro console have a tilt back console lid and firebirds had the tilt to the side console, which is what I like.

Not sure about the Camaro.

It looks high because I have the T-Handle, a regular **** shifter covers the entire shaft down to the boot.

I have the B&M Ripper Short Throw shifter in my car, made a world of difference over the stock unit. I highly recommend an aftermarket shifter.

Ahhhh, I see now what you're talking about Zepher. I took the shifter know off one of my cars and it look high too, lol. Are you happy with your B&M? I want an aftermarket and I was thinking about going with the Hammer. It's design style definitely matches a nice looking interior. Megashifter is cool, but I'd rather put that in an older muscle car.

The T-Handle is ok, but it came from my brothers black 96 T/A. When I sold him the 96 T/A it had the T-handle in it, since my 86 has been in the garage for nearly 5 months, he borrowed my leather shifter **** and and I put the T-Handle in my car.
If anyone wants the T-Handle, it's for sale, just make me an offer.
