Can the grid be repaired on the 85-90 T/A Lights?

Engine: 5.1L TPI, 5.0L TPI
Transmission: 700R4, M5
Axle/Gears: Sag 3.73, B&W 3.45
I imagine if you could get the lenses out, I never tried to disassemble my tailights, you could re-paint them, would be tedious.

I know what your talking about,had the same problem,don't waist your time I took mine apart and checked them out but couldn't think of any good ways to fix them so I got some replacements off e-bay for like $60.00 and they look like new.

The grid is actually pieces of plastic glued to the inside of the outer lens. Could be repaired, might be a pain though. If you want I have a set of 88 TA lights lying around. Good shape, missing the PS little reflector thing, easily replaced. 30$ takes them. E-Mail me at maksik7@mailcity.com

in the year one Next Generation book they actually have the individual tail light components that assemble the T/A lights..don't know how much off the top of my head, but i k now the grid is one of the items....Next Gen tends to be a little pricey, but well worth it
