IROC Z Center Caps
Has any body found a good place to purcahse Center caps for the 16" IROC wheels, I just spent 12 hours striping sanding and polishing my wheels, they would look so good only if I had some center caps
The local chevy dealer wants almost $100 for all four If you know of a better deal let me know please.

I picked mine up at a car show and swap meet for $10 a piece. If you can wait a while I think this would be the cheapest way. I'm pretty sure it was the Super Chevy show that I bought them at. They are brand new.

Try these........

Just remembered that I should remind you the caps are different sizes for the 1st & 2nd style wheels, not interchangeable, I think the ones above are for the 1st design.

for an 89 the inserts were $7.50. the whole cap is more, but still cheaper than anywhere i have seen yet. their shipping is high though.

Almost 100, jeeze i got ripped off then cause i just went to my chevy dealer and got center caps for 33 bucks a piece and i only needed two. 100 bucks for 4 might be a good deal. But your not going to find anything better than that new.

I lost all four of my inserts, but the caps were still there. I tried to find a used set every where but no luck. I went to the dealer and they want 40 bucks each. So what I did was I downloaded a pic of the 89 center cap from the net and took it to a banner shop here in town.
They scanned it and I measured the size of the cap on the car (so it would be exact). And they made me five black & silver IROC-Z decals for $10.00 Then I went to the local trailer accessory stor and got 5 of those little circle mirrors that you use on the side mirrors to give better perspective when towing somthing ($1.00 each)..
I placed the new dacal over the mirror and trimmed the edge so it has a fine silver border and then stuck them to the center caps with the 2 sided sticky tape they come with, and let me tell you what..That was the best $15.00 I ever spent, They look fantastic, They even look better than the original ones.
P.S. I had five made because I have a Grant steering wheel and I used the 5th one to place on the horn button, looks like it was made to be there.
