well... what would you prefer... that nasty 82-84 tan color?? or those beautiful hardly any rust shiny stock floor pans that need no work whatsoever aside from a light rub down with some WD-40 on the bolts???
I kinda like my dash that way too... its all... gone, and stuff
If I could afford the sound deadening stuff I'd do it... but right now I can't even afford carpet ...
I'ma just toss a seat back in and a seatbelt when I get them and call it good, hehehehe (temporary of course)

If I were in your position, I would put the deadener in it also. www.b-quiet.com Cheaper and supposedly better than dynamat. Its cheaper than carpet. Also, dont order your carpet from a third party. Order it direct from ACC (www.accmats.com/main.html) you will probably save some money, I found that out after I had already bought mine from Nextgen.
