Black Paint with Ghost Flames...?

Once my performance buildup of my camaro is done sometime in the spring I'd like to get it repainted. I'll be adding a 4 inch cowl hood and I was thinking of repainting it black and maybe going with silver ghost flames on the front of the car going to the middle of the fenders and to the base of the cowl hood. Any thoughts? Any pics of camaro's with ghost flames already on them? Any help is appreciated..thanks

I think flames suck, but I love properly painted ghost flames. When you can barely see them, that's just right. I planned on painting them on my GTA, but the thoughts of repairing the car if it got hit steered me away very quickly. There's a guy in town with a fox-body mustang with white perl and white perl flames, and he just got hit. I imagine he's going to have to repaint a large portion of the car now, and there's still no guarantee that it'll match right.

There is a guy here in Denver that has a black RS with the Z28 wing, and a cowl hood 2 1/2 inch, with ghost flames and i must say it looks pretty sweet, the silver flames reach back to mid cowl, cutting down the sides almost to the doors. His car looks reall good, and was done exceptionally well, ill try and get a picture this saturday if i see him cruzin'

I'm really torn on ghost flames/scallops/tribal combo on my black 92 hybrid. I've got aero wing (92Z) and full 92 ground effects. It will be onyx black otherwise

91Z..that would be cool if you could do that. I've seen alot of ghost flames on mustangs and I think they look great but I wanted to see some on a camaro. Nice subtle one's look the best. If you get the pics let me know. Thanks in advance..

I think ghost flames would be cool, but what about a ghost bird on the hood? I think that would be awesome! Is it expensive to do the 'ghost' stuff?

hey 82firebird...that is funny that you mentioned that. I was thinking about getting a ghost bird on my power bulge hood with ghost flames fading down the scoop. I always thought that would look kick a$$...but this is my first car and I cant go that crazy on it. I think ghost flames will look good on a third gen...just as long as they are subtle...where you can only see them on certain agles kind of. There is a red maro with ghost flames on it...it is the one with the custom flame door panels. It is a beautiful camaro.

MetallicamaroRS...what is the exact color of that car? It is sweet...that is my favorite camaro...besides MeanyellowZ. Your car is beautiful as well...even though I am not a camaro guy. I have been looking for a red to paint my car for a month...and I think that is the color. I emailed him...I am hoping he will give me the info. Thanks.

It is my favorite Camaro as well. I love that car so much. As for the paint, I believe its "kandy apple red" but check the paint section of his page to make sure. I'd check for ya, but my computer is runnin slow right now and I don't want it to get all frozen.
