Krylon.

You could get some white-faced gauges, new shift ****, wood (yuck) or Carbon fiber dash kit, new seats (This will help a ton!!) or just start replacing worn/dull parts.

i'd suggest replacing worn out parts. but if everything is nice then maybe add some gauges. Auto meter sells those gauge pods that attach to the pillar. i like those. anyway i think our "boring" interiors are cool. some of our cars were made in the 80's so i think we lucked out. at least they didnt TRY and screw up. if possible find some 4th gen leather seats, they look great in our cars

I had the same problem with my black interior. I just got to blan to look at. So I painted my vents gay to match my pinstripe and the center to my seats. I also painted the AC fan **** the same color and put in some lights under the dash for a little glow. I will get some pics of it soon and post them for you.

lol,
Evrybody likes gauges! Windshield pillers on the hood, wherever you can stick em. So you'll be able to know important things like exhaust temperature

lol I didnt say add more of them, actually I dont like gauges up the A-pillars and all over the place. Im saying make them really stand out and nice to look at and a little different too :-)

One of my ideas for making an interior unique was I planned on getting two sets of carpets, one black and another charcoal/grey color. Then I was going to use the black one and inlay patterns cut from the grey one into it. Say a big unorigional bowtie, or a flame running all the way back on the carpet etc. Wouldnt be hard to do at all.

I havent figured an easy way to do that to trim/dash pieces yet tho... anyone got an idea?

I have the A pilar pod with Auto Meter guages and they look great. They always draw compliments, even at the dealership. One thing though, as far as I know they only come for cars with T Tops. Lot's of other interior mods can be done or you can start painting your dash and console, change seat colors, and white faced guages or color bulbs in the dash. Have fun.

Here are a few things I've done, not only to add the 'cool' factor but also to add a bit of comfort or convenience: New cloth interior, Overhead console, L/S Conteur driver's seat (6-way electric, plus wing adjusts for the bolsters on the seat and seat back, lumbar, and thigh adjustments), B&W Ripper, 110 speedo cluster with higher intensity xenon bulbs (to include the A/C Heater control head and console clock), Grant Signature Series leather-covered steering wheel with 'Camaro' horn button, Alpine 1.5 din head unit, and a map pocket on the pass side door. Very comfortable.

If your Camaro has the overhead console with the swivel map light you can swap it out for a strobe light it fits right in the factory spot, its kinda cool but illegal.

I forget which one, but one of the 5 ads that are always at the top of the pages here (thirdgenparts I think) has a 145 speedo for 3rd gen (duh) f-bodies (incl. 6's), I think they're white face, which I dont really like, but with an x-acto knife & some spray paint, I can fix that.
Interior strobes are alright, unless you actually want to see what your doin. I like to match the color of the car, like red car, red light, I'm thinking about doing 2 lights, normal & colored, the red get annoying sometimes.
Does anyone know where I can get Indiglo lights (you know, like the blue/green on a watch)?

I saw a blue, green gauge cluster on a friends eclipse, he got it out of a rice mag, dont know if they make em for Camaros. Get white faced and change the bulbs, but dont get painted bulbs, those are junk, They get to hot and burn off the color, leaving a normal yellow light. Get the bulbs with rubber boots on them.

ok, I found a place that sells indiglo blue lights, its a ***** shop down the street. They try to be a speed shop, the guy who owns it has a badass chevelle, or so I've heard, I've never seen it.
I found some white face gauges w/blue or green lights in jcw sport compact (.com), but the only American cars are the neon, focus, & cavi (new style). I'll see if I can get replacment bulbs, maybe the cavilier lights wil fit.
