How do I find out what kind of camaro I have?
I have a blue 87' and the rpo codes are gone, from a vin # check I found out the body style and engine numbers, but how do I found out more? Any help would be great. I am very new at this, but I love my first camaro and want to make sure it is well equipped and maintained. Thanks.

Does the car have ground effects on it.If it does depending on the year it could be a Z28 IROC,RS,and the rear bumper has these emblems on the right side,Z28,RS.If the front bumper has these 3 slits on the nose and the rear bumper says camaro on the right side and the car has no ground effects then its a standard camaro.

Go to the history/restoration board and ask someone to run your vin for the rpos. If I am not mistaken, someone who works at a gm dealership can run the vin and get the rpos for you.
