OK, I'm up at a buddies shop...just finished dropping in a new engine...I'm up under the tail end securing the driveshaft...I peek out from under the car and notice that a scrap metal collector is there with his trailer loading up old radiators and rotors to sell by the pound...no big deal right?? I continue and about 10 minutes later I go to get my hood and bolt it on...guess what?? Yep, your're right...that junkman stole my hood from right outside the shop door. Needless to say, I'm pissed off...nobody knows who it was...they just know him as the junkman...I don't think he stole it on purpose...I just think he thought it was put out as trash or something. A perfect green 92 T/A hood outside the door where a green 92 T/A was being worked on. Either way, I'm still pissed. I'll get a chance to confront him as he collects scrap there often and everyone in the shop knows to get a name and # for me next time they see him. Anyone have a T/A hood for sale in Houston or nearby?

a fellow houstonite...nice to see. Sorry about your misfortune but whatever you do, don't get an aftermarket replacement t/a hood. I got one and it never did fit right or hold the louvers correctly. If you have to, find a used one or a direct gm replacement...much less headache.
