White Gauges with Blue lights

Ok so I have seens post about both but never together anyways heres my post asking if anyone has done this or if it is possible.

Ok

1) White face gauges for an 89 GTA 350 - no prob do them myself (where can I find a firechicken to put on it?)
2) I have red lighting coming from behind it as it only lights up the notches and so on. (can I change the color to blue with some clearish blue paint???)
3) TACH what looks better x100 or x 1000 ?? I x1000 (just a curiousity question)

Thanks

im not sure what they're called, but i like to call them "bulb condoms" theyre little pieces of colored rubber that you put over the dash bulbs to change their colors. the paint tends to wear off and melt off from the heat of the bulb and dont last too long, the condoms do a much better job. autometer makes some theyre a bit expensive maybe around $5 for 4 of 'em.

and for the tach, i like x1000.
