Damp carpet?
the carpet on my passenger side front seat is all damp...
I'm not sure if its my seals or not but the car has been sitting there for about a week... hasn't been opened or anything ...
Where would it be coming from? I lifted the carpet and the padding (jute?) and that was damp too but the floorpan has no rust whatsoever on it... nor are there any wet spots where I looked... only on the passenger side though
passenger side is about 3 feet from where the carport ends...
but the seals look to be in great condition so I dunno what it could be...
any ideas?
Thanks

My 87 had the same problem. it was coming from the door seal, and the ttops. it rain, and id go to get in my car, and the next thing i knew, my *** was wet. Just check and make sure all the seals line up correctly and they are not rotted.

Check your front winsheild. Thats where my leak was coming from. Also, It could be from the cowl area underneath the cowl screen. Sometimes rust can form in there and cause holes for water to come through.
