What's underneath the carpet in the rear hatch?
I always wondered what took up so much space in the back....apparently they only have 40 litre fuel tanks or something so that can't be it....I'm going to be replacing the carpet soon, what can I expect to be the cause of no trunk space?

I've been wondering what the empty hole in my hatchback is for. (91' Firebird) I guess it's to carry stuff. Personally, I keep a tool kit in it and some towels to cover my seats in case I get dirty. Kinda wish Pontiac would have left out the hole and put a bigger gas tank though.
