just found a source for clear turn signal lenses for our cars!!

I know there are alot of people out there looking for these!! They aren't cheap but they look great!! I can order them in sets of ten (sort of like a group purchase) for a little less than $750. (That's $75 including shipping) If anyone on the board is interested in purchasing a set, by all means e-mail me! I think the supplier has a limited amount so your best bet is to get them now. My e-mail is: digitalroo@digitalroo.nu

Here is an image of the clear lenses..

look at the image in XXROOXX's post, then look at the image at the procarparts link Scott_92RS posted. the picture is exactly the same, that guy just blacked out the procarparts and put hit own test over it. if he's selling them for $75, he's probably just ordering them from procarparts and trying to make some money off it.

Excellent detective work!! The guy's trying to make almost 100 percent profit and he's saying they are in limited quantities, so people will order through him impulsively -- no time to research. What a scam.

Willie, i just looked at the procarparts.com place and the image my supplier sent me, it looks like you're right, the guy just blacked out the middle. Whether he was just ordering from procarparts.com or not, they're cheaper at procarparts so that's where i'm getting my set from.

hahaha, mine won't be either. I made mine from a set of stock lenses, some mitsubishi eclipse clear lenses and some good sealant. But then, i still haven't seen anyone that has the rear sidemarker lights....

I guess I went the hardway... I just bought some clears off some car that looked somewhat like mine.. didn't fit, went to the body shop and told them to make it fit. They said they'd make the body have a lip around it just like it was original... works for me I guess.

Ok, ignoring the "rice" issue, I think it's insane to pay even $40 for clear side markers. Originality is great, but the ugliness thing just isn't an issue. EVERY car has yellow turn signals. And yellow's a nice color. But whatever your motive is, blacking them out is clearly the way to go. It's cheaper, easier, and IMHO better looking than clear. The cling-on window tint works fine, or spray them with Nightshades by a company called VHT or something like that, they sell it in Summit. I haven't gotten around to it but that's the route I'm taking.

yellow camaro dont touch those Yellow side markers.

i havea black car, im getting clear side markers. then VHTing them. so that way that match paint and look shaved.
hence my thoughts that it will match with your paint.

Neways. yea, i was glad they were unique before.

Does anybody have pics of a camaro with these lights on them? I would really like to see them on a car before if I decide to buy them.

well I am not much into the clear either, but, if you are going to go clear, it would only make sense to do all the lights clear. the same as blackouts. it wouldnt make sense if you cleared the marker lights and had red tails. make it look uniform, what ever style you go for

Ever thought about spraying paint or dye on the inside of the lenses such as blue to make them look green or red to make them look orange?
