windows go up real slow

windows go up real slow

my power windows like creep up and down. is there any adjustments that can be made or are my motors taking a **** on me?

I'm sure cleaning them out would help, but you have to realize that big doors = big windows and it's always gonna be kinda slow in a thirdgen.

can the motor be swapped from any 82-92 f bodie, and work properly? or even from any gm car with power mirrors?

I have the same issue, I dont think the motors are broken, I have had the car for 2 years and they are still just as slow. What makes me sad is when I ride in my friends 91 tbird. Those windows go down in about 1 second, then I get in my car and it seems like it takes them years to go down. Tbird windows are pretty big too...

Mine stop every now and then but I bought a used motor from the junkyard. Any GM power window motor will work from what I have been told. It does matter what side either becasue they are the same motor mechanism.
