They don't work because they draw so much power that it opens the circuit breaker in the head light switch and also if that doesn't happen, some people have reported one light being bright then the other and the other being real dim. Some have tryed to rewire but it messes up all the high beam stuff.

I did a set on my boss' GN a few years back, I had to add a couple of relays but they worked fine (and looked awesome!)

I picked up the kit I got from a guy on ebay. The kit is for 82-84 fieros but I cross referenced the headlight size and they will fit, as soon as I get another kit, becuase the one he sent me broke durring shipping, i'm going to install it on my 83 firebird. I played around with PhotoShop and made a picture I had look like it had the kit in already if you want i can post it so you can see what it looks like?

I have the autopal headlight conversions where i can use PIAA HID headlight bulbs. I'm running 1 H4 PIAA purple/blue/yellow bulbs in my headlights and they work perfectly. It also comes with small holes that I used to put strobe lights in. I have blue strobe lights in each headlight and their great for show. Wish I had some pics so i can post them up on here. Oh yeah, I had to get a adapter kit so I could plug the headlight into the stock harness.
