A/C

I have a 1984 Z28 Camaro and the carpet gets wet when i use the A/C. I think I have a problem with the A/C evaporator drain hose but i can't find it. Any clues.

I was going to try and offer some assistance, but unfortunately the blasted Chilton's manual is a waste of $$. It tells you that the AC system needs to be maintainanced by service professionals only. Soory I couldn't help.

its on the engine side of the firewall. It might be either your heater core leaking (try disconnecting the valve) or your firewall might have rusted through.

It doesn't have a hose. There's just a hole in the bottom of the evaporator housing. It's close to the firewall, directly under the evaprator; if you look at the housing, it's obvious where it is. You have to take out the evap to get to it though, but that can be done without discharging the Freon.
