Are Quarters/Doors/Fenders different from year to year?
Recently someone hit my car (Pic Attached), and I plan on fixing the car, due to the high sentimental value.
I plan on using all GM parts taken from donor cars, and was wondering if there were differences in the body panels from year to year, and if so, what to look out for to make sure I'm getting the parts I need.
I have a 1991 Z28
Any information or help would be unbelievably appreciated.

may have the holes for the ground effects in different locations thats about it. looks like you need more then just exterior panel. looks like you need a frame pull or pass framework

Are you referring to the way the wheel is sitting in the wheel-well?
The control arm sheared off at the mounting bolt.
(What happened in the accident, is I was driving, someone backed their truck out of a parking space into my side. Their hitch caught on my wheel and broke my passenger control arm. From preliminary inspection, that seems to be all of the suspension/chassis damage, but I can only hope at this point. I got another control arm on fine, and it looks alright.)

Re: Are Quarters/Doors/Fenders different from year to year?
I am really hoping that is mostly it. Their rear bumper brushed against my front wheel also (not even hard enough to unbead the tire, just enough to give it a little curb rash looking stuff) so it may need an alignment... but I was going to replace the struts and mounts before the accident anyway, so that would need an alignment anyway.
One little bit of silver lining in this, is that I had bought UMI control arms, and pan hard bars and stuff, but was too lazy to put them in until now, so at least it was only the stock one that sheared.

The 91-92 has different mounting holes in various locations for the gfx. All the previous years can be used but the drill will be required in a few spots for proper mounting. Hope that helps and good luck, Looks like a nice camaro

Looks like the 1/4 got it more up top. Are you going to have the 1/4 pulled or are you wanting to cut it out and replace? Like was said the 91/92's have differant GFX mouning holes and points. Sorry to hear about the car-looks like it was nice and still can be.

Re: Are Quarters/Doors/Fenders different from year to year?
I'm doing some mods on my 'bird, and close inspection has revealed some
previous issues w/ the front clip. Short story: some years back after a
minor fender bender, I replaced the driver's front fender w/ a salvage
yard piece. The front bumper never quite set properly, and that area
always looked just a bit unaligned. Fast forward. Although the external
surfaces match, there were subtle differences in the mounting points and
structural bracing. Nothing that can't be rectified with time & effort.
So CAREFULLY compare the replacement parts to your originals,
especially w/ respect to mounting structure, and points where other
panels meet.
Good luck, hope this helps.
