Has that side of the car previously suffered collision damage?
Is the alignment true beween of the top edge of the door and the body?
Exactly what part of your door is dragging?

Re: passenger door drags, help
No play in the pins does not mean that the hinge pins are not loose/sagging. The stock hinge setups can sag a bit. When I replaced my hinge pins, I got them re-aligned by placing a folded piece of cardboard under the door against the door sill. This allowed the door to be up enough that when I tightened the hinge bolts, the door was at the correct level. The stock hinge bushing is not that durable and will allow for some wobble over time. You may not have much rubbing, but it is enough to cause issues. Just seems to be an issue with all of our cars since the doors are such a heavy one piece unit.

If indeed there is no play in the upper or lower hinge pins, then the hinges have bent due to the length of the door and all that weight. It is a very simlple fix using the EZ-Store door alignment tool I sell.

Re: passenger door drags, help
So basically, this tool bends the hinges or pins using the leverage of the door?
No loosening of bolts or so?

You can't do this by using something like a floor jack because that would raise the enttire car. The door alignment tool uses the door striker bolt as the leverage point and latches into the door latch. Using the breaker bar you are able to raise or lower the door as needed to correct the alignment.

Re: passenger door drags, help
My driver's door was the same way. It had been sightly rubbing for years and then a few months ago, started to bind just where your's is and would no longer open using the outside door handle. I replaced both the top and bottom pins/bushings and then aligned the striker using Lon's tool. If you really think your pins are OK, just get the tool and see what happens. However, I think you will find the bushings are shot and are allowing the door to sag - it doesn't take much slop in the 20+ year old bushings to cause a problem.

Sometimes all it takes is the hinge repair kit to solve the problem. Other times it is the hinges themsellves that are bent causing the "sag and drag" condition.
Of course you'll save on S&H if you get the tool along with the hinge repair kit instead of S&H on two seaprate orders. It is such a small and cool tool (unlike the MAC Tools version I bought for my business before I started selling these) that it can be easily stored in a drawer or tool box until you need it. You'll also be a popular guy in your local car club. "Sure I can fix that, I've got the tool right here".

Never thought there'd be such a simple solution to such a common problem!
Thanks for letting me know about this.
