damnit, i cant believe someone did that already ... i was planning to do a 'secret' bodymod exactly like that cuz i've never seen it done and someone already did it. doh doh doh!!! oh well i like the look but like you guys said, if it used the oval vette lights from the c5 it would look way way better. i have a conversion like this done on my truck (the ZR1 lights in the rollpan) and its pretty cool ... just makes me wish my truck was actually fast. hehe. hey and btw, anyone who plans to buy that keep in mind you will have to fabricate reverse lights ....

Some guy had a similar setup on a blue 91-92 Z28 around here and it looked tacky as hell. To each his own though I guess...

who really needs reverse lights? just wire them up under the bumper somewheres or glue them to your hatch
better yet, use foglights!! it'll make the person glad they're following you, they won't be able to see the rearend of your car anymore and hopefully they'll run into it for you!!

well they don't look bad. Remember the body man makes the conversion look right and good. I may buy a set just so I can get the solid panel and make another one using the oval lights. Or even make thin slotted lights...

Hey Demon Z28, It's strange you mentioned having foglights for reverse lights because that's exactly what I have in my Jeep CJ7 back home. They are wired up to work as reverse lights and can also be switched on manually via switch on the dash. The primary purpose of having those lights back there is teach a lesson to those irritating ****** in cars with xenon lights who insist on using the main beam all the time. Had to quit doing that though, after my brother got chased and shot at by some dumba$$.

'88 IROC 305 TPI
Crappy 700R4 slushbox
Gutted airboxes
180 degree T-stat
Advanced base TPS voltage
Relocated IAT sensor
Momo steering wheel (gotta luv it)
Ram-air setup coming soon
Flowmaster muffler (puke)
Taylor SpiroPro wires
Accel cap and rotor
Ported plenum
Kills: '94 Z28, Olds Aurora V8, bunch of Mustangs, T-birds, ricers, and others who assumed a 12 year-old car would be too slow.
