Gauge Question
If I remove my gauges to scan to make white faces, when I take the needle off do I just put it back on at the position I took it off, or does it screw something up. I cant start my engine cause its blow (the reason I have the time to do this)...should I just turn the key and put the needle with those values. just dont wanna screw it up.
thanx

You have a small problem, then...it's nearly impossible to get anything besides the speedo and tach on properly without the car running. You should still be able to get guage readings, however, even without engine running. Don't worry about tach and RPM, you can do those with no problem. The fuel, temp, and voltage should still move when you put the key in "on" position. I don't really worry about my oil pressure, anyhow.
