Gauge Rage

The tach in my 91' Rs is giving me grief. It stays pegged when the car is running, however, it does twitch when the starter is cranking the engine. Is this a wiring problem or is the gauge fried? If its shot would I be able to get just the tach from a dealership? Thanks for the help.

its probably a bad ground somewhere...

You can try replacing the gauge though, but i would just buy one out of the junkyard, they almost never go bad, so you should be ok.
