Actually Duff,
The bird is getting sold. Building up funds for my 350 for the Z28. I need to adjust the parking brake on my Z28. It's basically non-existent right now. Won't hold for nothing....
I'll try & give ya a call tomorrow. (Didn't see the post until 1130 sun eve) heheh
Later bud.

I like the looks of it. I recently chose an easier route. I discovered that the 91-92 Pontiac Trans Am's have a map pocket with cupholder in each door. The mounting locations are already in the door. You just have to buy some of those white inserts to press into the holes for the screws and punch 3 holes in the door panel. It fit perfectly in my 90 RS convertible and looks stock. Well, it sorta is.

I have a cup holder in the no-man's land between the power window switches and the storage box on the console in my 89RS. Thats were the big clock used to go on earlier Camaros.

I especially like the way you did the texture. It looks from the pictures like it matches the plastic perfectly. Does it match that good in person? Also what brand of spray-on liner did you use and is it an aerosol can?

I don't know if it works with the Megashifter, but I know it will NOT work with the Hurst Dual/Gate 2.

Z83, if the Megashifter works with the regular ashtray unmodified, I believe the cupholders will work also.
Blue502, it was a spray can of truck bed liner, don't know the brand because I'm in San Diego right now, but in about 3 weeks I can check on that for you and YES, it looks as good in person
kinda suprised no one asked about those seats
