What's the best way to fill a small hole in the door?

Ever since I bought my Z28, there has been a small hole in the door just under the molding. It looks like someone drilled it there for some reason or another. It's only like 1/10th of an inch in diameter. I want to fill it and use some touch up paint to hide it. What can I use to fill it that will stay in place? I thought about using just a little bit of bondo, but will it stay?

How about taking the door panel off and bondo it from the inside. That way, only a little paint would have to be used to cover it up.

It should hold up ok. Make sure there is absolutely no rust around the hole, because you are guaranteed to have it resurface if there is. What I have done is sand it down really well and spray some rust preventative primer on the hole. After it dries put the bondo on and paint it as soon as possible because bondo is porous and will hold the water in there and cause rust. I haven't had any problems with it not holding up so far.

Sorry I just read your post again and it sounds like the hole is in the plastic molding. It should hold up really well if that's the case because bondo works well with fiberglass.

Actually it's in the metal, just below the molding.
